Valbowal and ULiège win awards at the SBE conference  

The SBE conference in Zurich welcomed a delegation from ULiège at the end of June: Sophie Trachte, Ophélie Noël and Aline Romboux presented the results of their research. They were awarded the Best Poster prize...

Mission accomplished in Vorarlberg  

The aim was to exchange ideas between Walloon and Austrian players in the timber industry, to gain a better understanding of how this industry has structured itself to support an ecological, social, economic and sustainable transition.

Valbowal at Materia Architectures  

Materia is dedicated to architecture in earth, stone and plant fibers. Sophie Trachte, leader of Valbowal and professor at the University of Liège's Faculty of Architecture, was a member of the Materia Award 2025 selection panel.
