Materia expo, the come back...

Following the exhibitions TerraFibrahosted by the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Liège between September and October 2024, and Materia Architectures held in Paris in March and April 2025, Materia will be held in Brussels fromOctober 2 to November 2, 2025, on the Usquare site, and will showcase 40 eco-construction projects featuring bio- and geo-sourced materials such as stone, earth and plant fibers. Organized by SAU and produced by the Pavillon de l'Arsenal, the exhibition presents the aesthetic, technical and environmental aspects of these materials in contemporary architecture, with a program of associated events.

 

The opening will take place on October 2 at 6:00 pm. Dominique Gauzin Müller will give a lecture, followed by a round-table discussion, moderated by Marcelle Rabinowicz, featuring our leader Sophie Trachte (ULiège), Thomas Vilquin (ULB, LaCambre-Horta), Odile Vandermeeren (groupe Frugalité Belgique) and Philippe Madec (groupe frugalité Belgique and Materia Award winner).
